Det elendige mirakel – meskalinet is Henrik Michaux’ attempt to describe the ”second condition” which is achieved through the intake of the hallucinatory drug mescalin. Through these meditations on his experiences with mescalin he reflects on a number of subjects on which this “second condition” shines a new light.
