Sami Hasselberg’s neighbourhood is where Stavanger’s shittiest area meets the hipsters’ wet dreams of foodie destinations, micro-breweries and new rich luxury apartments: gentrification in a nutshell. And then there is the grain silo. Once it served as the nation’s emergency stockpile. But now it is just there, staring at Sami while he is wondering about the housing marked and the beach which is anything but a beach. At least, the silo is watching his house when he is not at home.
