At Bergen Art Book Fair we will launch our new photobook Saudade by Christina Leithe H.
The book contains landscape photographs by Leithe H. and additional poems by Kristin Berget. The project has its origins in a longing that has been propagated in the past and which becomes the basis for a quest and a journey forward. The landscapes in the photographs are inspired by the old trade route between Norway and Portugal. The photos were taken in Norway, Iceland and on the coast of Portugal, known for its exotic forests with plants brought to the continent by long-distance sailors several hundred years ago. Saudade (Portuguese); the love that remains, after something or someone is gone.
