Goutam Ghosh: Ascribing to them birth, animation, sense and accident
(2015)
Indian artist Goutam Ghosh open and close this book dedicated to his work, Goutam Ghosh: Ascribing to them birth, animation, sense and accident. As Ghosh puts to writing himself: “(...) this book has been the result of an interaction among likeminded people. Folks, friends and their ideas.” Published in 2015, the book offers a view through the many facets of Ghosh's practice, from painting to drawing to film. The works are accompanied by an essay entitled “Tantra and Sacred Art: Exploring Rasa Theory through Yogic Principles” written by Kaustubh Das, as well as a conversation between Susanne M. Winterling and Elizabeth A. Povinelli around and with the works of Goutam Ghosh.
