Hegdehaugsveien 3

Hegdehaugsveien 3 takes you on a tour through all the STANDARD (OSLO) exhibitions at its old address in Hegdehaugsveien 3, where the gallery was located from 2005 to 2012. As the photos illustrates the gallery's many exhibitions, texts by Eivind Furnesvik, Knut Knutsen and Matias Faldbakken puts the history down to words. Furnesvik opens the book by looking back at the starting point of STANDARD (OSLO) and what defined it, from its architecture and location, to its exhibitions and artists. The inaugural text is followed by two others written by Knut Knutsen and Matias Faldbakken, titled “The human being at the center” and “(SUBJECT 2005-2012)”.
