Spesial Nord is an artist run independent publishing and curatorial project designed to function as a showroom for artists from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Island. Selected artists are invited to present themselves thru work exclusively commissioned for the respective issue with focus on visual material and texts which refers to and reflects the artistic process. Established in 2009 Spesial Nord has published magazines and poster issues, touring the Nordic countries with exhibitions and performances from the contributing artists. Spesial Nord is run by the artists Christina Leithe H. and Iselin Linstad Hauge.
